Tom Ervin is a Security Assurance Consultant at a midwest based auditing and consulting group. He has experience in the information technology field specializing in computer and network security, social engineering, networking, Linux/UNIX and Windows Administration. Tom performs network security assessments for financial, retail, and healthcare industries. Prior to network his security work, he performed system administration IT consulting, and network support for small to medium sized business. Tom holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology with a focus on Networking and Database Administration from the University of Cincinnati. He is also an active member of multiple OSS projects and is perusing several Information Security certifications.
